There are two Homer Broyles from Ohio. One was born 19 Apr 1914 and died in Apr 1971. Would this be your father? This suggests that Oliver Pierre Broyles was born c. 1885, perhaps in Ohio. (I couldn't find him in the SSDI as Oliver, O, Pierre, or Ollie). This probably means he died prior to 1962. If you could locate his death certificate it will probably name his parents.
