George, it always pains me to see queries that have only names. No dates, no locations. It makes it a true needle in a haystack proposition. The names were all fairly common at one time. There's an Oliver P. Broyles, son of Ozey Reed Broyles, who was born in 1856 in Greene Co., TN. (Keith number 1508) He is probably too old to be the Oliver Pierre being looked for, but I have no way of knowing. Perhaps someone else has info on this Oliver P. that would confirm him to be the right one or prove that he is not. Steve hbroyles@prodigy.net (by way of "George W. I've subscribed the requester to our Lists, so you can answer here and he will see anything you might have to help him. I've searched through all my Germanna/Broyles databases, and cannot find Oliver Pierre BROYLES or any of his siblings. Surely someone out there will know about them. Regards, SgtGeorge George W. That could be possible. My grandfather Homer Broyles would have been born in around 1915 to 1920 which could make it possible that his father was born in 1856 but it is a stretch. That would have made him 60 to 65 when my grandfather was born. As far as I know my grandfather has always lived in Ohio. I do remember my Great Grandmother living in Pebbles OH but I'm not sure if she was on the Broyles side or not. I'll have to see if my Mom knows.
