Off the subject of our Broyles family. Yes, we do need to remember ALL the veterans this Memorial Day. Just a few weeks ago our paper ran a story talking about the spy plane that landed in China and how they were making them out to be heroes. It went on to say the real heroes were the guys who died in WW I, WW II, Korea, The Persian Gulf. The writer skipped right over Viet Nam. I corrected him and he said "I guess I forgot about that one" How can you forget the 58,136 brave soldiers who's names are on the wall in our capital and gave there lives for the rest of us?
