I'm sorry to be so late getting out the word about this year's East Tennessee Germanna Descendants/BROYLES Reunion. After last year's fiasco, I wanted to be 110% certain that I posted the correct dates, and had all the pertinent information. The Reunion will be held on 13 & 14 Sept 2003, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in Washington Co., TN. All the pertinent information can be found at: <http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~george/easttennesseereunion3.html> Just so everyone understands, even though our Reunion is held in conjunction with the BROYLES Reunion, it is intended for ALL Germanna Descendants whose ancestors came through East Tennessee (Washington County, Green County, any other TN County, or the "Watauga Settlement".) If you haven't found any links to ancestors who were in East Tennessee, but think that maybe some of them were there, take a look at the linked page which includes a list of E. Tennessee Germanna families (as well as information on driving directions, maps, hotels/motels, etc.). We need to know how many to prepare food for on Saturday, how many chairs/tables, etc. As indicated, on Sunday there will be a "Pot Luck" dinner after church services. Those coming from "out of the area" don't need to worry about not being able to bring a dish -- there will be more than enough food to feed all of us. Should you want to bring something, feel free to stop by Kentucky Fried Chicken, or some other fast food outlet.
