Frances **********END OF ORIGINAL MESSAGE TEXT*********** Hello Frances, Yes, that's the same company that Dennis West represented this past weekend at our combined Annual East Tennessee Germanna Families Reunion and Broyles Families Reunion. He gave a fantastic talk about using DNA in genealogy research, presenting the most easily understood and honest treatment I have ever witnessed. If any other Germanna families are planning a Reunion, I would heartily recommend contacting Family Tree DNA and arranging for one of their local representatives give a talk. Doesn't cost anything and is very, very informative. The whole process is new, but I think that within 10 years it will become one of the major tools in genealogy research. It has almost unlimited potential. Regards, Sgt. George

Martha was probably born before 1850 and should therefore be found in the 1850 census of Campbell or Whitley Cos. Hi Steve and thanks for the reply..... I have Martha in the 1860 Whitley census with parents Willis and Sarah, siblings James, John and Rachel (Rachel married William Michael Davis, Campbell Co. and John married Mary Caroline Moses in Whitley Co.). I haven't yet been able to find them in the 1850 census in either Campbell or Whitley... or Scott, or Knox, or Wayne... or..... and or... LOL. There was another Martha Centers in Knox in the 1860 census, same age range as "my" Martha. She was the daughter of William and Lorcena ? Centers and was found in the 1850 Estill Co. census. Somehow these Centers are tied to the Abner Centers found in the mid 1800's Knox. I was hoping a Broyles researcher had more info on which (if either) was the Martha married to Michael. I will send to Campbell for her death certificate and hopefully find out. Also, has anyone ever found the date of death and burial place for Nancy Broyles b.1833, wife of Daniel Thomas? Thanks again Linda
