    1. [BROYLES] PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR ANCESTORS GRAVES
    2. James Albin
    3. Message text written by James Albin >This was received on my Orman/Auman website and since there are many Germanna descendants buried in Indiana, I thought it might be appropriate anyone that might be interested. Jim Albin Message text written by INTERNET:dundy45@myfamily.com >Please read the following message I just received and join in helping save our ancestors gravesites. It may not effect you personally today - but what about tomorrow. Hi Dianne As you may remember I have been restoring our Pioneer Cemeteries for several years. The situation here in Indiana is that we have very few and very poor laws protecting them. Recently a sad trend has developed where developers are using third parties to petition the courts to disinter bodies to make way for developments. The most recent case happened in Clark County where a developer made a del ($$$) with a funeral director who got acourt order to remove the bodies from a cemetery that was in their way. The bodies end up in boxes in a building at the University of Indianapolis. Really sad! Would you send out to your mailing list the attached link whereby people can download a copy of the petition to change the laws? Anyone with ancestors buried in Indiana should be concerned about the problem. here is the link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~inpcrp/Petition-Disinterment.PDF I will be bringing a copy with me to the reunion for folks to sign as well. Thanks Art _____________________________________________________________________ Get your free MyFamily.com email account at www.myfamily.com! < <

Many of you know Ken from the many posts he makes here to help East Tennessee Germanna Descendants with their research. Ken is the one that publishes the 10 volume set of "Broyles Family History", and the typescript of Dr. Keith's Broyles works. Just for the record, the "Broyles Family History" contains many non-Broyles descendants -- virtually all the other Germanna families who ever had a member marry into the Broyles family, or marry into any of the East Tennessee Germanna families. NOTE TO KEN: Ken, your ISP "@icx.net" has decided that ANY email coming from the service I use, "@home.com" is SPAM email !!!!! I have tried to email you about it, but, of course, my email comes back because @icx.net refuses anything from @home.com. Can you PLEASE contact your server and have them remove @home. com from their restricted list? @home.com is fast becoming one of the most used ISPs, and for ANY server to restrict so much email is just not right. I've contacted my server, @home.com, and asked that they work on this, but haven't heard from them yet. Regards, SgtGeorge George W. Durman (P.S.
