Prof. Keith's birthdate for George (c. 1839) appears to be in error by a few years. William and Rhoda were married in late 1842. George would therefore reasonably be expected to be born in 1843 as their first child. Further, his census entries say he born 1843 to 1845. His brother Michael was born early in 1845.
