For more information please contact: Jason Lee Edwards 770-445-3900 James Madison “Bud” Brownlow (1852-1931) and Sarah Elizabeth Phillips (1861-1951) were married on May 1, 1879, in Bartow County, Georgia. In the early 1900’s they moved to Longstation, near Aragon, in Polk County. They were the parents of six children George Lester Brownlow, Annie Lee Brownlow Carter, Rhoda Judson “Jud” Brownlow, Willie Estelle Brownlow Carter, Virgil Ephraim “Dick” Brownlow, and Oliver Johnson “Toll” Brownlow.
