Their children were: Mary Ann Davis b. 21 Jan. or Feb.1821 TN Nancy H. Davis b. 1824 TN William Brownlow Davis b. 17 Feb. 1831, d. 19 Feb. 1831 Martha Davis b. 2 Sep 1833 MO James G. Davis b. 1834? MO; d. 17 Sep 1834 John H. Davis b. 1836? MO, d.16 July 1836 Lumima Davis b. April 1839 in MO Since their first son was named William Brownlow Davis I suspect that this was a family name but have been unable to make a connection. I have been unable to determine which county in TN they resided in, there are just too many Thomas Davis' in this time periond in TN. A sibling of Thomas Davis may have been Arthur Davis m. Elizabeth (nee Johnson) Carrell (Carroll) on 30 Sept. 1845 in Osage Co., MO by Elijah Jones, J.P. & Judge. On 25 October 1850 in Osage Co., MO; Thomas Davis (b. 1 Nov. 1797 TN), Administrator of the estate of Arthur Davis deeded land to James P. Caroll and Phillip Caroll. After Zilphia Davis died Thomas Davis married (2) Elizabeth Jane Hicks in Osage County, MO in 1850. I descend from youngest child of second marriage.
