The children listed seem right. Joseph Brownlow entered Canada from Ireland (parents unknown); it was said that he had a sister by the name of Ann or Mary. I found Joseph is Wisconsin, where he married Francis Lucinda Kellow in Medora, Wisconsin. I received information from a lady, who said the parents died along with all the children, with the exception of Joseph and his sister in Canada. I have the Civic War Pension record of Joseph, but there is no mention of his parents. And the only mention of sibling is "a sister." Anyway, I have a number of Brownlows that come from Melbourne and Richmond area of Quebec. One I am specifically interested in, particularly because I can't find her birth, marriage or death, is an Annie Elizabeth Brownlow (daughter of John and Isabella (Woodward)) She (apparently) married my grgrandfather, James Thomson Murdoch and there were 3 children from that union, James Sydney, Wells George (known as Willie) and Carrie Alberta who died shortly after her birth in 1895 (she was the last child). In the 1901 census, James Sr has both his sons and is listed as a widow and is a boarder in the home of John and Isabella Brownlow Any connections?
