I don't seem to have received the first message from Pat ([email protected]) regarding Ann McClain, wife of Thomas Brownlee, but it may yet come. I seem to get some messages very late out here in the western boonies. Here is what I have on Ann McClain which comes from Dale Armstrong and Donavan Dorsey, who took it from a History of Shelby and Moultrie Co. IL. I have for Ann's birth, 1788 in Washington Co. PA, marriage in 1809, and death ca. 1851. This birthdate wouldn't check out with the 1850 Census. Wonder if the census taker made an error and age should have been 63? That would make the other dates more logical. Betty Rudolph
