1998 is here and our list is growing quite steadily. As of today, we are at *79*, wow, this is great. There has been a dialog this weekend about helping preserve the Torfoot Farm. What a concept. It is hard to imagine when sometimes it is hard even to just keep our own homes from falling apart. The constant upkeep, being an owner of a big 1960's home, I now have a better understanding. Anyway, I am getting off the subject. I love the idea of helping preserve a piece of us, history, something our children, grandchildren and so on can say they know about it and can see it for themselves. And seeing is believing. I would like to hear some feedback on the following: 1. Year 2000 trip to Scotland for the "Brownlee" group. To see the Torfoot Farm and tour area - requires financial planning and research. 2. Ian's idea of coming together and seeing what we can do to help. 3. What countries we all represent. I think if we can pull a group together to make this trip from all over several countries, states etc - it could be a media and genealogy event. There might even be an organization out there that can help make this trip possible.
