Thanks for the list of Brownlee publications. The latest book I have of Dale's TORFOOT BROWNLEES doesn't have a date on it either, but I've had it about 1 1/2 years. He sent it to me after I returned from Scotland. He does state that it is the 8th printing. So I would guess 1995-96ish. There is quite a lot more in it than in the last version that I had. When I last heard from Harry Brownlee, which was a few months ago, he had finished one book and was starting to put together another one. Don Brownlee who is on this list can probably tell you more about that than I can, as well as other Brownlee publications. The Brownlee Materials I have are: 1) GENEALOGICAL RECORD OF THE MCDONALDS, LOGANS, DICKSONS AND BROWNLEES of Marshall Co. IN, compiled ca. 1892 2) THE NOTES OF DR. J. C. NEAL, Stillwater, OK, compiled in 1890s. 3) TORFOOT BROWNLEES, 8th printing, compiled by Martin Dale Armstrong, ca. 1995. 4) NOTES OF KATHERINE BROWNLEE SHERWOOD. (Permission to use these would have to be obtained from Mitsu Soria who is a member of our group) 5) Copy of ACCOUNT OF THE BATTLES OF DRUMCLOG AND BOTHWELL BRIDGE, by William Craig Brownlee, printed for James Thomson, Bookseller, 1822. 7) Print out of Birth and Marriage from LANARKSHIRE, SCOTLAND PARISH RECORDS, 1699-1750 (and in some cases, beyond. 6) ONCE UPON A TIME, by J. J. Brownlee, and THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN, by Don Brownlee (not 'our' Don Brownlee). These two are mostly family anecdotes, not much in the way of genealogy. 7) BROWNLEE FAMILY HISTORY AND GENEALOGY, compiled by Linda McComg Rathbun, 1989 8) Odds 'n Ends of family group sheets which I can put together for inclusion in a Brownlee publication. In addition I have two Large notebooks of Brownlee research and a 7,000+ name database which I am happy to make available to you if you do a large, all- encompassing publication. Betty
