Hi Betty My Brownlie's(IE!!) lived in Bonkle,Cambusnethan,Lanarkshire and Carluke. I can find Carluke fine but the other? If its on your map I would really like to see it. Also I would like to know if this is close to Torfoot Farm? And yes we're interested in the reunion in 2000. According to my reading (Ian's book: "The Brownlee Family") the names Brounel, Brounle, Brownele, Brounlie, Burnly, Burnley in the records from 1486 to the early 1800's may refer to the same person. So we're all probably related. Too bad its so hard to get back before 1700. I would personally like to see back to 1386. anyway thanks for the help on this.
