    1. Re: The Brownlee Family book
    2. All of these projects discussed sound great. Interactive is the definate wave to be riding. Once a book is complete - it should be a snap to convert! Right now I am designing storyboards as I go along with my research that will someday turn into an interactive CD. What does this mean? It means that instead of having just a database of family trees or a book that you turn pages one after the other you have a multi level family storybook with music, video, photos, maps, animation and so on. You navigate through it as you want. And it is all on a writable cd. It is a huge project. Will take me years to complete. I use a program called QuarkXpress Immedia. It allows you to take designs straight to cd or web. The one area that they are working on right now is the capability to include database. Once that is done - it will be heaven. See MAC is not as database friendly in some of it's programs YET. If you have a piece of software that is friendly in all of these areas, please let me know. I have clients asking to build full interactive brochures/catalogs and I have yet to find a visual and data compatible program. Thanks Kay I love all this chatter lately - great job guys.
