Another Brownlee publication is the Brownlee Family by Donald E. Jones. It covers much the same ground as Martin Dale Armstrong's book but is indexed. I use them together when I am trying to work on the Brownlees. When I talked to Dale, he felt his format didn't need indexing which is maybe true when you are starting at the top but in the middle, it can take a bit of time. I bought this book from Donald 1737 West Belle Street Belleville, Illinois 62223-6109 The edition I have is 1993, I think the Torfoot Brownlee book I have is a later edition than that. Dale had just finished putting it together when I bought it, circa 1994. I paid $22 for Dale's book, I think and a bit more for Donald Jones. I am delighted to have them both.
