The Portland (ME) Press Herald on 20 June 1997 carried an obit for Helen E. Brownlee, 88, who died Thursday at a local hursing home. She was born in Haverhill, MA to Charles and Anna Kot Fila. Her late husband, Theodore R. Brownlee, was a Portland attorney. He died in 1982. A son, Theodore R. Brownlee, survives. A graveside service will be held today, June 21st, in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, ME. Arrangements by Conroy-Tully Funeral Home.

DAVID KYGER was born August 19, 1812 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He also died there. His wife's name was JANE DRUCILLA FIREBAUGH. Their daughter, MITCHELE KYGER, married JAMES A. BROWNLEE about May 12, 1870. (I find this marriage date suspicious given the birth date of their first child.)
