    2. Hi Yes, I'm receiving your messages. As you can see from the date of my reply the problem is finding the time to even sit and read everything let alone get to any research. Don't give up on us though. Thanks for all you do. Maureen O'Dowd

File it away in a safe place. They aren't the only places to find lists - if you know of a good URL that you want to share - send it! I would love to find an internet source for county boundery outlines and the names of the counties. Anybody seen this? It is your input that makes these lists work! Have a good weekend. Thanks Kay Cardwell-Davis

    1. Out of the woodwork they come.....
    2. Good morning I am sending this to all three groups at once - hope no one minds. I did a subscriber count this morning and we are growing in number daily. Thank you for getting the word out. In the event that I personally might not have written a note to all newcomers..... WELCOME and I am glad you have joined us! Please don't hesitate to write me a note if you have a question about the list or need help regarding the list. For all you "newtimers" - we want to here from you. Introduce yourself and give us a challenge - who are you looking for? We have many VERY polished researchers among us. :) Enough for now - have a fabulous weekend - the boomers are in full force here in Kansas - no oz jokes please. Kay Cardwell-Davis Listowner of Reddick Cardwell Brownlee [email protected] ----------------------------- Thought I would share this. Non related to genealogy. My son, 4, reminded me recently that what we say and do really can impact there sponge like minds. I love to drive - lived in NYC 10 years - need I say more about how I drive. (Never had a traffic ticket) I talk to the drivers, alot. So, Benjamin, while sitting in his car seat in the front passenger side sees a driver pull their car in front of me without much notice, he flings his hands and arms out and says, "hey lady were do you think you are going?" So humbling...

    2. Margaret K. Miller
    3. Would be extremely grateful if anyone has information on the following BROWNLEE family members. Here's what I know from a family history. DAVID KYGER was born August 19, 1812 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He also died there. His wife's name was JANE DRUCILLA FIREBAUGH. Their daughter, MITCHELE KYGER, married JAMES A. BROWNLEE about May 12, 1870. (I find this marriage date suspicious given the birth date of their first child.) They had eight known children: BESSIE Born about 1866 CARRIE Born about 1868 MINNIE Born 1870 KATE Born 1872 JAMES Born 1874 NEWTON KYGER Born 1876 FRANK K. Born 1877 Michelle Born 1879 I have lots of solid information on the Kyger's. Thanks so much, Maggie Miller

    1. Re: Brownlee Surname List
    2. Hi, my name is Cathy Bekian and I live in LA. I'm researching my ancestor, Helen (Ellen) Brownlee who married ___ McNichols, then Walter Dunn, had at least three children and then emigrated from Gartgil Farm, Old Monkland Parish, Lanark, Scotland to Western PA around 1850. She is the mother of my Gr Gr Grandmother, Catherine Dunn, who I am particularly interested in because I'm named for her. Would love to connect with other Brownlee's from that area who may be related.
