I am working on the children of David and Vashti West Browning namely the family of their son Jonathan Daniel Browning and Arrena Mathews and have a question about their son, George W. Browning, b. 21 August 1840, Hancock County, Illinois Is he the George W. Browning who married Ellen H. "Nellie" Gray and then married Constance Gross? I found another reference for hinm as the son of John Browning and Elizabeth Bryant. Which is correct? I descend from the son of David and Vashti West Browning, Edmund Green Browning who came to Oregon in the 1850's.
