Dear Brownings, The following is a will abstract for George BROWNING, Kent Co., MD written 6 Feb. 1775, probated 23 Feb. 1775. To nephews: George BROWNING, son of Writson, and John Writson BROWNING, son of Nicholas, all my land equally. Nephew George, upper part next to George Wilson's Mill and Nephew John, lower part, when they are 21 years of age. Above land to be rented out and money used to complete payment on said land and any overplus equally among above nephews. To nephew, Joshua BROWNING, son of Wriston, 1/3 part of tract on Patowmach River which I claim unter my father, John BROWNINGS will. To nieces: All my personal estate to be sold and all debts paid anything remaining equally among Cornelia and Elizabeth BROWNING, daus of Writson and Rachel BROWNING, dau. of Nicholas and Mary, Martha and Rachel KATING, daus. of William KEATING, Jr. To brother Thomas BROWNING wearing apparel.
