We have formed Jonathan Browning Family Association and more details are available at www.jonathanbrowning.org. Jonathan is a Mormon pioneer, the father of John Moses, the famous gun inventor and the son of Edmund and Sarah Barbara Allen Browning. We also placed a historical roadside marker in cooperation with the Tennessee Historical Commission at Brushy Fork, Tennessee marking the birthplace of Jonathan. We started off Friday Oct 21 with a reception, followed Saturday by a full day of activities including a Jonathan Browning look alike contest, bus tour and museum tours. Even Al Rounds, a famous Utah artist, joined us selling his picture of Jonathan's Nauvoo, IL gunshop and home. On Saturday evening we had a banquet with guest speakers and a video of the roadside monument dedication. Sunday morning we went d! own to the conference center in SLC and listen the the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Sunday Broadcast with Ronan Tynan as the guest artist.
