    2. Thank you Mitzi for the quick reply to my inquiry on Robert Browning. I will try to obtain a copy of the book The Browning Families, Book 12 you mentioned as well. Thank you again. Ellen Martin Bernardo Liberty Lake, Washington << Robert was the son of Edmund b.ca 1732 and died after April 19, 1807 in Caswell Co.,NC. He married twice: 1st wife unk., married Mary Ann Murphy Sept. 9, 1800 in Caswell. Six children were born from his first marriage in Culpeper Co. Two sons were born of his second marriage. His will was dated April 19, 1807 and proven July, 1807 (Caswell Co Will Book B, pg 166; Will Book E, pg 347; Will Book F, pg 260). He named his wife, heirs of his deceased son Caleb, his son John, the two sons of his son Joshua; son Robert; son Nimrod; daughter Nancy McReynolds; children of his dau. Elizabeth; his dau. Mary Culberson; dau. Rachel Browning; and granddau Nancy Bowin. His other children were Elijah, Tolliver, HenryLucy, Molly, Jenny. This information comes from the book: The Browning Families, Book 12 in the series Our Maryland Heritage by William N. Hurley Jr., published by Heritage Books. This is my Browning family line: my grandfather was Dewitt Clinton Browning, son of James Wellington Browning and Joanna Elizabeth Holder Browning and grandson of William C.
