    3. Hi Pat, I have a bunch on Thomas, but not much on Edmond or Jeremiah. I think those three were from VA. The other two, Basil and William, were from MD. I may be mistaken about that though. I have not figured out Mesach or Wesley yet. Yet another early Mason Co., KY marriage of a Browning was: Marriages copied from "Old Marriage Register:" Mary Browning and Thomas Case 12-4-1800. I do not have all of the census records that I'd like to have. One thing that would be particularly helpful is to know how many Brownings were in the Mason/Fleming/Lewis/Bracken area in 180X and 181Xs. Especially near 1808 for Fleming, since that's when John N. Browning seems to have been born. There is a will for a William Browning Sr. (17 Jan 1853 - probated 13 Oct 1855) "nearly Eighty seven years old." His wife, Mary, was still living... posted at http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ky/FlemingWill?read=10 Posted by Charlotte Smith <[email protected]> Children of William Browning Sr.: deceased son James Browning, son Lewis, deceased daughter Dorcus Ware, son Levi, son Benjamin, son William, son Eli, son John, son Vachael, son Amos, daughter Matilda Jones, daughter Margaret Batesman. I can send you a bunch of land records, wills, etc. for the Thomas Browning bunch. For awhile I was trying to connect my John N. Browning up to that bunch of Brownings from VA. I have already posted the Thomas data to the Mason Co., KY list - so it can also be located by searching this year's KYMason list archives for "Browning."
