Greetings and Salutations! I am new to this list only having discovered yesterday the surname of whom I believe to be my ggggrandmother as Nancy P. BROWNING. I found her last name out by looking at the North Carolina Marriage Bonds, 1741-1868 on www.ancestry.com and there it was. I am tracing backwards from Forsyth County, Georgia to Casewell County, NC. By reading the BROWNING Queries Board I discovered the information printed below. I wrote to the people who sent in the information only to find their email addresses are no longer valid. I am posting it in an edited version in hopes I can connect with anyone researching or with information on either this MARTIN or BROWNING family. Thank you very much.
