    3. Lula Reed Boss of Maysville, KY originally compiled these records. She donated a copy to the BROWNING file in the Mason Co Museum Library. When I was at the library the last week of March I obtained a xerox of her Browning compilation. The write up was neither dated nor copyrighted. I do not know if Lula Reed Boss is still living. Regardless, I thank her for donating this to file where other researchers could be helped along the way. I have taken the liberty of rearranging the wills, court orders and deeds into roughly chronological order. It's just easier for me if the dates aren't all jumbled up. :) Deed Book J Page 12 March 27, 1806 Thomas Marshall and Fanny his wife, of Mason county .. to... Thomas Browning and Elizabeth his wife, of same place.... 100 acres of land in Mason county on waters of North Fork of Licking River... Will Book K Pg 193 - Will of Thomas Browning of Mason Co., KY (note says: born 8-17-1767 Culpeper Co.) Dated: 6/15/1833 Proven: July Court, 1835 .....refers to wife.... (does not mention her name)... speaks of land that he holds as "not paid for"... slaves to be under the control of Theodoric L. Browning - if he be called off - same then to be in charge of Ludwell Y. Browning. Other heirs mentioned: Edmund Browning Woodville Browning Harriet Browning LeWright Browning (R. L.
