Thanks, James! Like I thought the Joshua IN THE WILL is one of the 'other' Joshuas. Joshua Browning b: 29 January 1758 in Virginia d: 10 January 1807 in Clarke Co., GA . +Margaret Rankin b: 15 December 1754 in North Carolina m: Abt. 1773 in North Carolina d: 13 July 1842 in Clarke Co., GA My BROWNING research had a setback early-on in the 1980s and I have not yet had the stomach to jump back into research on this family. I was using a large chart found at the Putnam Co., IN library. It has many mistakes. I was so hoping to find some document in Bourbon Co., or Culpeper Co., VA to clarify the matter. There is also a Joshua in the Maryland family. I'm not even sure where Nancy SCOTT is documented. I think my Joshua BROWNIGN ( 1746-1814) m. Nancy SCOTT and died in KY.
