Hi BROWNING Cousins, I am Yulonda Quick-Nolen and I live in Harrisburg, Saline Co., IL with my baby (dog) Pepper-Rose. I have two sons and five grandchildren. I've been divorced for several years, retired and doing whatever I please. My BROWNING line begins with: Matilda Elnora BROWNING--grandmother b.23, June 1883 d. 23, March, 1931 m Daniel Francis QUICK-03 March, 1901--St. Clair Co., IL Reuben LIVELY BROWNING--ggrandfather b.27 Sept 1847? d. 27 Feb. 1896 m Henrietta JAMES--03 Aug, 1882--St. Clair Co., IL Willis BROWNING--gggrandfather b ???? d ???? m Christine LIVELY--07 August, 1845 in St. Clair Co., IL Granville BROWNING--ggggrandfather b. abt. 1790 VA d ???? m Polly BURNETT--23 Oct, 1812/13 in Montgomery Co., VA Granville had two bro's: Augustus William BROWNING who m. Mary Ann ROACH in St. Clair Co Braxton BROWNING who m. Sally BURNETT in VA--sister of Polly We know these three BROWNINGS left VA and they were in: Robertson Co, TN, Census 1820 Morgan Co., IL, " 1830 St. Clair Co., IL " 1840 We have never been able to determine the father and mother of Granville (my line), Augustus Wm. and Braxton BROWNING. Any and all help on this BROWNING line certainly would be appreciated. John BURNETT signed the m. license for Polly but not Sally. I have found the will of a Benjamin BURNETT (wife Frances) in Pittsylvania Co., VA. The will names the following ch: Polly, Sally, Eliza, Edward, Jeremiah, Thomas, Godpey, Basnot and John BURNETT. John is probably who signed the m license for Polly. God Bless, Yulondia
