Hi All, I have been watching this list and gathering information from many of you, and I must say that I am very confused. First there is 2 books. One by E F Browning and another by Hurley. If that's not confusing enough, I descend from Caleb BROWNING b 1750 and Caleb BROWNING born 1734. I think it's really Caleb 1750 son of Edmund BROWNING born 1732. I then go to Elijah BROWNING b 1768 and Jane ?; then Gilbert BROWNING born 1807 and Elizabeth STEELE; then Samuel Stack BROWNING born 1826 IL/KY, and Martha THORNTON. I received the copies of the BROWNING QUARTERLY, file 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 that was offered by Tom Browning, but can't decide from which book he bases his info on. The more time I spend the more confused I get. I'm ready to decide that Thomas and Hester is my starting point, but it now seems that everybody comes from these two. Does anybody come from Captain John? Any light would be appreciated. Jo
