Hi all! I'm new to this list and thought it was time I posted the Browning family I'm looking for. I'm praying there are some descendants of this couple who'll contact me, as I don't have much on them. Alfred Browning married Elizabeth Karr, 16 December 1857 in Fayette Co. IL (Vandalia). Elizabeth is my g-g-grandfather's youngest sister. She was the daughter of James A. and Charlotte ("Charity") Bailey Karr. James A. was born in Madison Co. Ky in 1800; Charity born in GA in 1803. When she and James married in 1820, Madison Co. KY, Charity is listed as orphan. One of Alfred and Elizabeth's daughters married a Lewis Arney in Fayette Co. IL, and I've found some of the Arney descendants. Does anyone have these people in their line? Any help appreciated! PJ
