My name is Bernard Lattion(bernard.lattion@cgocable.ca)450-227-7337.Born in 1938, Gatineau, near Ottawa, the Capital of Canada. My father is from Liddes(look on the web)Valais, Switzerland. He emigrated to Québec in Hull(Qc) near Ottawa and worked in the the hotel business all his life.He succeeded in realestate and politic. He became mayor of Aylmer(Qc) in 1975. First swiss mayor, I think, in Québec or Canada. He married Yvonne Maisonneuve of Hull(Qc)She had 3 children -Bernard-Pierrete and Suzanne.Usually, I SPEND MY WINTER IN fRANCE(Menton) and go to Switzerland to visit my cousins. I stay in Liddes for a week or two. This year I will stay home to enjoy that white snow Lately, on the wb and trough telephone directories ,I foud a family of Lattion in Toronto. At the moment, i am searching their origin.I want to know if they are from le Valais, Switzerland. Most of the Lattions are from the french part of Switzerland(Orsières - Liddes -Nendaz Martigny -villages and cities near Mount St-Bernard(tunnel to go to Italy -a beautiful region full of Lattions!!!go on the web I am curious to know from where you are!Many lattions left le Valais in 1870...and went to Michigan and I believe to New Mexico - Texas and California and England -I am searching By chance, I fell on your message and I am anxious to to hear fram you.
