VA he left land to his daughter Elizabeth, which had been purchased from Thomas Merritt. His widow Johanna is listed as one of the executors. But in her brother's deed, it is noted that Elizabeth Loyd, daughter of George, died without issue. There is no mention of the fact that this Elizabeth married a Browning. From these documents, it doesn't appear that the daughter of George and Joanna Loyd is the Elizabeth Loyd who married Francis Browning. VA Colonial Abstracts by B.
