(His wife Eliza Ann Rucker B: 8 SEP 1807 died <1843>). After he died, four of his five children were living with other known family members (as researched by census records). The eldest daughter, Eleanor Browning B: 29 MAR 1832 in IL, was listed in the 1850 St. Clair County, IL census under Alfred C. Land who was actually Alfred C. Leard. His wife was Martha Ellen BROWNING B: 19 AUG 1819 in Robertson, TN. Martha's father was Granville Browning B: 1790 in VA. I am trying to get a connection between Caleb and Granville as the above info would lead me to believe that Martha and Eleanor were related in some manner. In the probate records for Caleb, there was the name of E. H. Browning but have no idea who this was. Just thought I'd toss in some more names for you "Granville" researchers.
