Gretchen, I do not know how much you have on your line as below, but I do have a few references that may assist. Have you seen the 1860 census records of Izard and Independence Co., AR? I have them if you need them. Williamson is 63, SC and Sarah 60 SC, only Washington 20 TN, is with them. Angus, Amanda, & William are on the 1860 Indep. Co., records. I have a short write up I done on the 2 William Brownings of Barren Co., KY. I do not see a connection to your line, but will send it if you want. They of Union District (Co.), SC, and Maryland. All but one of their children was born in Barnwell, SC. William and Elizabeth had 11 children and one of them was Robert Browning. Was this the Robert Browning who died abt 1834 and was married to Prissillar? Their children were Robert, Jr., William(son?), Maria, and Norman (these names came from copy of will). Info I received from another research but doesn't have source where she got it is that Williamson Browning is son of Robert and Precilla Bryant Browning who is the son of William and Rebecca Dance Thompson Browning. (My info would have Robert as the son of William and Elizabeth. Would like to work with others who are researching this family and try and sort this out.
