Hello, Hurley's book on the Brownings indicates that the father of Edward Browning Sr. (b. ca. 1700, d. Apr 9, 1785, Montgomery County, MD) was Francis Browning, (b. ca. 1672, probably Cecil County, MD, d. ca. 1723 in Spotsylvania County, VA). He may be right, but there seems to be no real documentation. Has anyone found any evidence to support this hypothesis? Thanks, Ron Bachman
