Mitzi, If you have the Hurley book, would you mind doing a look-up for me? I have been against my BROWNING brick wall forever. My 4th grandfather was Granville BROWNING b. abt. 1790 in Montgomery Co., VA. He had known bro.'s Braxton and William Augustus. Granville m. Mary (Polly) BURNETT of Pittsylvania CO.(?) abt. 1812 and we believe Braxton m. her sister or cousin Sarah (Sally). Their parents may be Benjamin BURNETT and Frances BARNETT. Our problem IS that we have never been able to determine the parents of Granville and his brothers. All we know is the m. license was taken out in Montgomery Co. I have seen Granville listed in one other place as Granville T. Would you be kind enough to see if Granville (or Granville T), Braxton and Wm. A. are listed in the Hurley book. They left VA, went to TN,1820 census of Robertson Co. TN, 1830 census of Morgan Co., IL and 1840 census of St. Clair Co., IL. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
