Still looking for Leah Browning m. Henry T. Brierly July 14, 1880 in Henry Co., Ky. Henry Brierly b. Nov. 18, 1859, d. March 12, 1922 in Henry Co., Ky. Don't know when Leah Browning was born or died. They had 8 children---Robert Thomas Brierly, Maude Ann Brierly, Luke (Pete) Brierly, Ellie Brierly, Leona Brierly, William (Smoot) Brierly, Katheryn Brierly, & Jennie Brierly (my grandmother). In William Hurley's book, "Our Maryland Heritage Book 12: The Browning Family" there is a Leah E. Browning, born ca.1902, the second child of James M.P. Browning (b. ca.1868)and Elizabeth. James was the son of Jeremiah and Malinda (Perrin). They are in the line from Jacob Browning (1744-?), the son of William Browning (1710) and Miss Williamson. These families were all in the Pennsylvania and Maryland areas. The surname BRILEY is in the index of the book, but the first names don't match either--William Briley and John Notts Briley.
