    1. Re: [BROWNING] Will Browning
    2. Sylvia, From my records I find the following. I am not of this family, and only have these notes & records. If you find more information, I will search further. I do have a lot of Browning records of KY & TN. From the 1880 census of Weakley Co.: Browning, Wm. H, 39 KY, parents born KY Nancy C. 30 TN , parents born TN (nee Turner, my note) Emily H 10, Wm. B. 9, Nathan B. 6, James D 4, Mary C. 2, all b. TN this Mary C. "fits" your Mary. per the marriage records, a Wm. H. Browning & Nancy Turner was issued a marriage lic., Jan 29, 1868. (also a Sarah Browning M: a James Caton, no date, thought it may be a clue as you mention a Sarah Katin) on the 1860 federal census, Browning, Emily 45 KY p342 Sarah A 21, Wm. H. 20, Mary A. 21 (?), David 18, all born KY none on the 1850 census of Weakley Co., or elsewhere in TN, that I could find Could not find in the 1850 census of KY either. It appears to me that your Mary C. was a dau. of Wm H & Nancy Turner Browning, and that William was a son of ____ & Emily Browning. Hope this helps, Jim Richey
