Hi everyone, I know I've put some of this down the list at various times, but I think I just stumbled across something, and I'm looking to see if anyone out there has additional information that can either prove or disprove this thought. I've been looking for the parents of my Great-grandmother, Harriet F. BROWNING for a while now, and I think I may have just found them, but I'm looking for some corroborating evidence. FACTS: >From Harriet's death certificate: 1. I know her father was a BROWNING and her mother was a SMITH. 2. Harriet was born in 1875 in Logan Co. 3. 1880 Logan Co. census contains 2 potential Harriet's one in the family of Hiram and Sarah J. who was "6" years of age. The other belonging to Iverson and Corrinder P. who was "7" years of age. 4. In 1855, Hiram BROWNING married Sarah J SMITH. My supposition: My Harriet F. Browning was the daughter of the said Hiram BROWNING and Sarah J. SMITH. Does anyone out there have evidence that could either support or disprove this supposition? Anything would be appreciated!
