Would you happen to know where Charles Browning was living at the time he was a slave. I am researching the Browning name and I have a Charles A , Browning in my line but I haven't been back far enough yet. Thank you Betty
Betty, I'm researching my husband's Browning line and I've really hit a brick wall...Where are you looking (which state), I'm looking for Browning's in Kentucky in 1825, that's when his grgrgr-grandmother was born in Kentucky. I don't know her parents or where they came from prior to Kentucky. His family weren't slaves, but I'm hoping we can help each other find information we can both use. email me anytime terrymenck@cox.net ----- Original Message ----- From: <Avonell4@aol.com> To: <BROWNING-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, April 17, 2006 7:57 AM Subject: [BROWNING] Charles Browning > Would you happen to know where Charles Browning was living at the time he > was > a slave.
