    3. Jim, I was just giving the basics because I will send you the papers. The lawsuit was in Travis Co., Texas. They apparently lived in Austin. John H. Bostwick was my ggg-uncle. His sister, Mary Caroline Bostwick, married Asa Thomas May, son of William May and Elizabeth "Betsey" Browning May (daughter of John and Nancy Peebles Browning). They were my gggrandparents. I have lots on John Bostwick. Well, not lots, but more than just the Browning information. Chester A. Olds - I seem to loose him after the 1860 census. He and wife, Alice Bostwick, daughter of John H. Bostwick Pamela Browning Bostwick's oldest daughter, had a child, James Bostwick Olds, who was with his grandmother, Charlotte, in the 1870 Census, Selma, Dallas County. Chester was apparently the Constable for Dallas County. I have a record that shows he was exempt from military service because he was the constable. But, then there is a record that shows C. A. Olds enlisted in Goldthwaite's Batt'y. Alabama L. Art'y as a private May 10, 1862. I don't know what happened to him from there. James Bostwick Olds married Sallie Jones, according to my grandmother's records. This may be because she knew James and Sallie. I just don't know. At any rate, at least now Pamelia Browning is with the correct parents. 3. Found Charlotte Olds will, mother of Chester A. Olds - the will was entered into court records in June 1871. Her first request was to be buried next to her son in the Benton Cemetery. So, Chester died before that time.
