Because of the old saying "Never say never." My understanding is that her name was Celia Ann. Except, the 1870 Census has her listed as Caroline. I haven't been able to find her folks, Benjamin & Jeannette Samantha DUNCAN BROWNING in the 1880 Census yet, so can't compare. I checked the Adams Co. 1920 Census for Allison's and didn't come up with anything. I've checked to see if a Celia Allison remarried before 1900 in IL. Nope. I should just check Allison's. I've checked for various spelllings including Ellison. No luck. Celia isn't my direct line, so it's not as vital as it might have been, but I get curious about people and wondered what happened to her. Did any of your Browning's come to Southern Illinois? Happily in Christ, Harlene
