I have been trying to research Francis BROWNING born between 1686-1700 VA. Francis married Elizabeth Carter LLOYD ca 1723 in VA. My problem is that I'm finding more than one Elizabeth LLOYD. One is the daughter of William LLoyd and one is the daughter of Sampson LLOYD. I descend from Caleb BROWNING, so Francis BROWNING is an important. Can anybody tell me how I can figure out which one is the Elizabeth LLOYD that married Francis BROWNING? There is lots of information out there, but so much of it is conflicting. Thanks, Jo
