Arretta French Browning Boone is my great grandmother, Henry Boone was my grandfather. They lived in Germantown, KY in Mason county. I don't know if Sarah was her sister, I didn't think she had any sisters. Her mother was Matilda Browning, it is rumored that Matilda (in 1867) had a hush hush affair with an Indian. I am trying to find out who this Indian was, what tribe he was from and where he lived. Arretta was the child from the affair and on the death certificate it is blank where the father's name should be. To top it off my aunts look like they have native american in them plus we have found 2 pictures with indians in them. I really want to know who this man was as he is my great great grandfather and I am fascinated with my native american heritage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps some elders in the family would know.
