Jim, does this follow the Brownings who came from Tennessee/Alabama around 1865 (?) to Johnson Co Texas. Included a Charles Browning I believe. Maybe this is not enough info for you. If not I will try to get more info to you. One ancestor was a Robert Browning who married a Kimbrough. She was dau I believe of Thomas Kimbrough and Elenanor Graves (She was dau of Thomas Graves). Hello, I'm looking for a Browning family who was suspose to e in Kentucky in the early 1800s...the direct one is Margaret Almeda Browning b. about 1826 in KY...she married in Vermilion County Illinois...don't know much else, she did have relatives in Iowa in the 1860s...any help will surely help with this brickwall I've been struggling with for a few years now.
