What information to you have concerning spouses, children, and siblings for the Brownings that you listed for me. I found the "Aldridge-Vance" tree by MaryJordan26. It lists a Chloris (Louis Carrol) as daughter of Oza Everett Browning (Lydia Maria Grimmett, the son of Ballard Preston Browning (Mary B. Browning), the son of Henderson Browning(Elizabeth Canterbury), the son of William E. Browning (Rebecca Toler), the son of Francis Browning (Tabitha Vance) I am the son of Luther Browning (Clara Wilson), son of George Washington Browning (Iva Perry), son of Loren Browning (Martha Jane Vance Ryan), son of Levi Browning (Venila Toler), brother of the above listed Henderson Browning and son of William E. Browning. If this is correct that would make us third cousins once removed.

I guess it is none of my business but to my knowledge Enos Browning married Jane Trim. If anyone is interested I have pictures of the Grassy Lick Cemetery where the Rebecca Toller and some of her children were buried. The were relocated to Skyline and Leatherwood Cemeteries when the Bailey Dam went in. I also have pictures of them when they were completed. I have a list of the names of the people who were buried in Grassy Lick. I have pictures of Levi and his second wife, and Chapman Browning and his family. I don't suscribe to anything but have some free census pages thru a university web site down here in Texas where I now live. I was born in Man in Logan county WV myself back in 1957. I found Daniel and Harriet in the 1900 Triadelphia district, Logan county census Daniel head born April 1845 Harriet wife born Jan 1840 Buchanan, Mary P daughter June 1880 Buchanon, Jasper son-in-law May 1880 Mounts, Margaret mother Feb 1830 Just two houses away are my great grandparents Ballard P and Mary Browning so they probably knew each other ! Of the family trees I've found only a few give Daniels parents as Jackson Mounts and Margaret Charles. HI all, I was in the process of indexing by Browning Book, and about 200 pages into it my program went nuts. I have been using "GenIndex" by Staub & Assoc. for about 12 years. Now I cannot reach them. Telephone and emails do not get anywhere, and their web site has had no updates for 3 years. Can anyone info me of a good every name indexing program/software? I look out on Google and did not find one I liked. This is putting a serious delay in getting my book out on time. I will appreciate any suggestions.

Ron, yes, vol. 1 has a lot on Robert & Frances Kimbrough. my #1665g. Robert born Mar 15, 1764, Culpeper Co., VA, to Caswell Co., NC, where he died in 1843. Children to AL , TN, TX. He had a son Robert Jonathan Browning, 1809-1885. Then vol. 2 has more on the family. You will need both vol. to get all of what I have. My problem with the first vol. was that I had to cut it off. I was getting way too much data for one book. Over 750 pages in vol. 1, and about that many in vol. 2. And I still have much more data on some lines in vol. 2, and several new lines. I think your line is pretty complete, except the recent generations. Probably be a vol. 3 sometime. Thanks for the interest. Regards, Jim Richey
