I am looking for any descendants of Solomon and Zella Rasnick Skeen Browning. They were married in 1863 in Russell County VA, later moved to Fleming County, KY sometime after 1867. Their daughters married Moody, Atchison men. There was also a Abra Browning who died in Jessamine County,KY in mid 1990s. Arbra was some how related but I am not sure how. Solomon died in 1911 Zella in 1918 both are buried in Hillsboro Cemetery in Fleming County. Any leads would help. Hello, I had not heard about a Peregrine Browning in North Carolina. There is a Peregrine Warfield Browning, b. ca. 1811 in Clarksburg, Maryland, son of Meshach Browning, b. 1756, who was the son of Jonathan Browning Sr. (my ancestor). Peregrine is an extremely rare name. This might be an important clue linking the North Carolina Brownings with the Maryland Brownings. Has anybody pursued this? Hurley's book does not list a Peregrine Browning in North Carolina, so this is an exciting possibility....
