I don't know how I missed this earlier, but I have some Brown ancestors in Yalobusha County MS from 1830's to 1880's when they moved to Texas. The original Brown was William E and he had a boodle of Browns (well his wife, Martha, had them but she outlived him) Some sons were Larkin, Jehue, Juda (I think there three were killed in the Civil War), Madison, James Polk, and Alexander. Anyone connected to these? Ken Brown
