Hazel, I believe i found your "Minor C. Brown" b.1864, in 1870 Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia. He was the ONLY one found in the whole USA born in that time frame. If you would like the census image, i will be glad to send it to you. Just let me know. Don't be shocked because he wasn't born in MS, many of our ancestors didn't know for sure where they were born.
