I have had very little luck with my Browns and I've been watching the list for a long time. I haven't posted in forever so I thought I'd give it another shot. Lavilla Brown b. 1841 married James Scott Worthy b. unknown, d. unknown in East Feliciana Parish, LA Dec. 23, 1868. They had three children, James Scott, Eugene Benjamin and Thomas. The 1880 census lists Bunyan Brown as Lavilla's half brother and living with her. His father was listed as being born in South Carolina, as was hers but it appears that they had different mothers. Lavilla's mother was listed as being born in South Carolina and Bunyan Brown's mother was listed as being born in Louisiana. Lavilla disappears after the 1880 census. James Scott Worthy II b. March 1875 marries Lelia Claira Brown b April 1880, August 29, 1899 in East Feliciana Parish, LA They have five children, Scott Thomas, Earl Benton, Lelia Agnes, Thelma and Brownie Louvilla. I cannot find Lelia's parents or when she died, which I know was shortly after the birth of Brownie Louvilla in 1910 in Bunkie, LA. Anybody have any Brown's in Louisiana? Barbara
