Hello: My grandfather was born in Freelton (withing 10 miles 0f Galt) and the family lived In East Flambough, Ont. The two families that married into brown family were Johnstone and Emmons. My Grandfather was, I believe, the only one that moved West to B.C. His Parents: David Brown B. Saltcoats Scotland April 1831 Rosalie Emmons B. W. Flambourough, Ont Aug 1838 I have info and and their parents....the Emmons from New Jersey back to the Mayflower Browns, Scotland
