Willow, we have corresponded before. I still believe our line connects with the Rev. William Brown line. Recently I came across two birth records that show two of our earlier Brown's being born in Leeds County even though the family lived in Lennox & Addington (Kingston Ontario area). Possibly they were visiting relatives??? There is a Caleb Brown who is buried in the Prescott area who is said to have been an older member of this Rev. William Brown line who was already married at the time the family came to Canada. I can't prove it though! How frustrating. I can't remember....was this family of the Methodist faith? or Quaker? If I can be of help, please let me know. I do have an Ancestry.ca membership and am close to the archives.
